El crimen perfecto
Tonight D and I saw "El crimen perfecto" at a little theater on Houston Street. It was quite nice, with exposed wood beams near the ceiling. It's an odd Spanish movie with subtitles, about rival department store employees who are vying for the title of floor manager. D and I both gave it a B plus. It was entertaining, but it was very plot-driven, and the plot started to spiral out of control near the end.
The theater also sold DVDs, so I bought a copy of "Ghost World" for $14.99. I liked that movie and Steve Buscemi was good in it. It's also interesting to see Scarlett Johanssen before she got all glam (and vapid).
