Meme from Poppy

But before I go into it, I'd like to point out that Liz is getting an extra special shirt. I am honored that Liz thought of me in connection with this shirt because I am a fan of all things Molly (Ringwald, of course). Liz also has a super cute dog, who was recently blessed.

So here I go:

Name someone with the same birthday as you.
Alex Trebek, Rose Kennedy, John Leguizamo, and I think David Spade.

Have you ever seriously vandalized someone else's property?
Nope. I was one of those good, bookish kids.

Have you ever sung in front of a large number of people?
I've sung in front of 4 people. This will change when I become a yoga teacher.

What's the first thing you notice about the preferred sex?
Eyes and shoulders.

What is your biggest mistake?
Going to law school.

Have you ever hurt yourself on purpose?
No.

Say something totally random about yourself.
I like pink, purple and red.

Has anyone ever said you looked like a celebrity?
Yup. If you've read the blog, you know all of them.
Most flattering: Natalie Portman
Least flattering: Alanis Morissette
Most perplexing: Faye Dunaway (wrong hair color!)

Do you still watch kiddy movies or tv shows?
Not really. Although I loved "The Little Mermaid" back in the day.

Did you have braces?
Yes, from sixth grade to the beginning of ninth grade.

Are you comfortable with your height?
Pretty comfortable. I don't really want to be taller or shorter.

Do you speak any other languages?
I took French in high school and Italian in college.

Have you ever been to a tanning salon?
Yes, when I was in my sister's wedding back when I was 15. (She's 10 years older.)

What magazines do you read?
Us (although I'm considering dropping my subscription, too much Jessica Simpson for me); Yoga Journal; Every Day with Rachael Ray.

Have you ever ridden in a limo?
Yup...
1) When I was 13, I was in the national spelling bee and we took a limo to the airport to go to D.C. I was living north of Boston at the time. I'd never taken a limo before. I don't think my mom had either, and one of her coworkers thought it was a fun idea.
2) One of my friends went to the prom with a limo company owner's son, so we went in one of their limos ;)

Has anyone you were really close to passed away?
Yes.

Do you watch MTV?
Nope. I used to watch it a bunch in the '80s, though. All those good videos. ("Take on Me" by A-Ha...yeah!)

What's something that really annoys you?
When people say hurtful things.

What's something you really like?
Reading, writing, yoga, hanging out with yummy people.

Can you dance?
Sort of. In my own, idiosyncratic way!

What's the latest you have ever stayed up?
All-nighters in college (one or two).

Have you ever been rushed by an ambulance into the emergency room?
Nope.

You were in the National Spelling Bee? I'm so jealous!

And whoever thought you looked like Faye Dunaway must have been smoking something! :)

i know, isn't that weird? i don't see it at all. it was my career counselor, who i saw a while back, who said it.

yeah, the national bee was fun...i got eliminated on "impresario"...i spelled it with 2 s's...of course, i was in 8th grade and had never heard the word. oh well!

Faye Dunaway?

As for all-nighters: I was voted the most likely to pull an all-nighter in my dorm during my sophmore year.

I can sort of see some resemblance to Faye Dunaway in your smile . . .

And good call on dropping US---it's become so repetitive that I accidentally bought the same issue twice---they are so focused on the same three or four people that I can't tell one cover from another!

LOL
:)

I bet they both had Jessica Simpson o on the cover...

How can you find out which celebreties share your birthday? My friend Allie and I have the same bday and she's had some art published... does that count? ;-)
Bearette said…
:) I'm not even sure how I know. I think Us Magazine always runs a feature saying when people's birthdays are, that week. I think one of my local newspapers growing up (the Salem Evening News) did the same thing. There's also a book that People magazine puts out each year with birthdays in it.

And sure, Allie can count ;)

I've stolen the questions and posted them on my blog. I hope you don't mind.
Bearette said…
Heh...I didn't know you had one! I'll have to check it out ;)

Oh, I thought you were a different Malcolm...one in New York! Now I see you're from England. Hi :) London is cool.
