Short-sleeved sweater

I finished this today!

Updated to add:

While definitely not form-fitting, the sweater is not as boxy as it appears on the table. You also get to see me slightly cross-eyed ;)

Pretty in pink (of course ;).

I'm still afraid to attempt a sweater.

Hehe. It's not that bad. It does take a lot longer than a hat. I'd recommend short sleeves because long sleeves are an ordeal for some reason.

have the tops you've knitted had a boxy fit? or are you able to tailor them a bit?
Bearette said…
Liz - slightly boxy. i tailored one a bit but it ended up being skintight so i've backed away from that. this one actually looks more tailored on than in the photo; i'm not sure why. maybe b/c i spread it out on the table...

Does your shower curtain have writing on it? :)
Bearette said…
Liz - it does, actually. It says things like "naked and happy" and "I'm so clean" ;) D picked it out.

Great looking sweater! And you're right, it looks different on - as you said "not boxy". I can't believe how much knitting you're doing. Do you get callouses??
Bearette said…
Thanks :) No calluses, i think those are just for guitar players ;) The worst thing to happen to me, knit-wise, is eyestrain.
