Ben & Jerry's closed. Yes. It was tragic. So I went to Baskin Robbins instead. I got the strangely named Tax Crunch, which really tasted like Heath Bar Crunch, and was quite good. So I give Baskin Robbins the Bearette stamp of approval. They also gave me a sensibly small scoop -- none of this large-masquerading-as-a-small business.
I'm also very excited about tomorrow morning. I'm bummed that the strike is keeping Desperate Housewives (the only show I really miss, aside from The Office) off the air...but breakfast makes up for it. I recently discovered 365 brand Frosted Mini Wheats and I love them. It makes me look forward to morning.
Are you infatuated with any breakfast items?

Ice cream sounds good right now and I have strawberries and bananas so I may have to make a shake.
If you want to see a brand new baby go to behindthestove.blogspot.com.
You're next. Yay!
You just take some dried prunes and some orange slices and cinnamon sticks and simmer them in a pot of water, then add some prunes and a bit of the yummy left over juice into your oatmeal. The idea is you simmer a reasonable number of prunes at once and then each morning just reheat the left over prune concoction from the previous day so the soup gets more and more flavorful and the prunes more and more plump. I also like to sweeten mine with a little bit of agave.
Caro - that sounds really good! That baby is so cute! I expect mine to be about 3 pounds heavier ;)
T - that is creative! Do Betty and Charlie like it?
As for breakfast, I love yogurt, fruit, granola and honey. Super yummy and nutritious! (When I'm feeling bad however, I like the Toaster Strudels)
