Mittens complete!

I finished my mittens! They're magically warm; I really can't recommend that yarn enough (Debbie Bliss alpaca silk). Debbie, if you're reading, feel free to send me some skeins ;)

If you'd like to knit the mittens, the pattern is available here.

I think I'll chill out with scarves for the next few days...but what will the next project be? I think I'll make a hat using circular needles.

Those look awesome! Alpaca is incredibly warm. I have some alpaca socks I got in Denmark that are awesome....and a throw that I scored at Home Goods for $12 several years ago that is one of my favorite things.

Alpaca rocks the house.

Thanks! I love it. I might make a sweater out of it one of these days.

I would probably be making a bunch of blankets if I had your mad skills! How about some little doggy sweaters? Hehe.

Those look like they'll match your cotton candy scarf. Cute!

I want to try using circular needles, too. I've got mine all ready to go. Just need to find some time now. :)

I love them. You make me envious. I tried knitting once. It was a disaster.

I'm not sure of your definition of affordable, but the Canon PowerShot A540 is nice.

I think you can find it fifty dollars cheaper than it is on Amazon though.

All I can think of is actual alpacas, and how they might react to mittens made out of them.

jay - Just their hair, though!!
