What cat are you?

My sister M sent me this link. I found out I am a Snowshoe:

The Snowshoe is gregarious and talkative. She is always ready for fun and will regularly try to instigate a game. While her strong intellect leads her to try new things, it also causes her to become easily bored when a task is mastered. Variety is truly the spice of life for this kitty! Affectionate with others, eager to interact, the Snowshoe is always the belle of the ball.

I like this description. And I definitely like variety. What kind of cat are you?

Also, in an interesting twist of fate, I will soon be teaching yoga to investment bankers. I just have to get certified in CPR and take a brief orientation.

I'm a Norwegian Forest Cat: The Norwegian Forest Cat is strong and independent. She is reserved with newcomers but blossoms in the company of old friends. Confidently defending what is hers, she does not like strangers in her territory. Her luxurious coat is a lot to handle, and necessity dictates regular upkeep. An amazing athlete, the Norwegian Forest Cat thrives on physical activity, and no leap is too great or prey too quick for her to tackle. This huntress is clearly queen of her domain!

I'm not so sure about that last part about being an amazing athlete. I'm definitely not that!

I, too, am a snowshoe (and it rhymes!).

CPR...heh. You very well might need it for investment bankers. I have this stereotypical image of 60-something white men in suits trying to downward dog :)

Lisa - my sister got that same one! She's a Virgo like you, too :) Heck, you may even have the same birthday - Aug 23?

Kitkat - heehee...good point!

That's too weird. Our birthdays are one day apart---I'm August 24.

Yay for Virgos!

I didn't do the test because I have already made up my mind that I'm a Tonkinese. That's probably because I have a Tonkinese and her personality fits mine perfectly: not terribly pretty (not in a conventional way at least), a bit high-strung, slim, talks a lot of rubbish, is very very loving and likes to cuddle but can also be very moody.

Just like me.

I HAD to go back and do the test in the end. And I'm an ocicat apparently.

The Ocicat is both playful and devoted. She may spring into action on a whim at any moment, or languidly pass an hour away in the lap of a loved one. Is happiest with friends and struggles at being solitary for any period of time. Her exotic, no-fuss coat is a breeze to maintain, and looking her best comes easily. Inquisitive by nature, she gets into trouble from time to time. But any trouble is soon forgotten because she is off on a new adventure in a flash!

"Looking her best comes easily" pah.

Waspgoddess - you're too hard on yourself; you looked great in your SPC. And your Tonkinese is a cutie! i like how she drinks *only* from the edge of the bowl.

Like wg, I'm an Ocicat. I don't think I struggle with being solitary, though. :)

Although I like solitary too:)

I think ocicats look like little leopards....

Have fun with your new class!

I like the very last sentence. :)

"No leap is too great" is pretty cool, too :)

Here is a link to some ocicats. My sister's partner's mom (now that was a mouthful I'm sure no one bothered to follow) has one, and it's apparently very friendly

For some reason, I laughed when I hread you had to learn CPR to teach investment bankers yoga.

Even though this quiz is women orientated, I did it. Are all virgos showshoes?
Bearette said…
It actually looks like most Virgos are Norwegian forest cats (Lisa, above, and my sister). I'm a Cancer and a snowshoe. Suzy is also a snowshoe, but i'm not sure what sign she is...

Fun survey thanks!
