I feel like such a slacker...I've gotten sucked into Facebook. But I am going to try to keep blogging. A few tidbits:
  • We're going to MA this weekend for the family Christmas party. Because of the numerous-ity of my mom's side of the family, they rent a hall. Everyone brings an appetizer or dessert and fun is usually had by all. Here's hoping the trip does not destroy E's sleeping schedule. He has taken to sleeping 10-11 hours a night, waking up once to feed, and waking up another time to get his diaper changed. I'll take it.
  • I just finished Knit Two by Kate Jacobs and really liked it. It was a sequel to the Friday Night Knitting Club.
  • I'm wondering what's the earliest age a child can enjoy Disney World - thoughts? D and I have different ideas on the matter.
  • So far, E seems to prefer avocado to butternut squash, banana and rice cereal (all fed to him separately, of course). He weighs 21 pounds. Update: he is eating the butternut squash! Yay...

fire the babysitter. have E develop an allergy : )

I think the optimal age is probably, oh, when you're DEAD. (I am not a Disney fan.) No, seriously, 4. At earliest.

And *I* prefer avocado to rice cereal, banana, or butternut squash. Don't you?

I have to say I like them all, except rice cereal ;)

Mmm....avocado. Speaking of butternut squash, I had butternut squash ravioli for lunch today. Simply divine!

How is this babysitter high-maintenance??

My family went to Disney land the summer that I was 5 as part of this massive 3 week road trip/vacation we took. I imagine I had fun, but I really don't remember anything about it. So it might help to be a wee bit older if you want him to remember the experience.

I hope you keep blogging. I enjoy your stories and photos. I think I'm too old to do Facebook. I don't even know the difference between Facebook, MySpace and Twitter.

Judy - you're not too old to do Facebook. If you ever decide to join, let me know!

I think I will keep blogging, it's just that Facebook is so effortless, it's seductive...

At least six for Disney. My parents took me to both D-world and D-land before I was five and all I have are some vague memories of the Haunted House, being upset because I was too small for a roller coaster ride, and...

So, six. He'll be big enough for most rides and has half a chance to remember it as he gets older.
