So I got over the intimidation factor with the instructional DVD, and watched a little video online that explained how to use my Ergo baby carrier. We took him to the in-laws' apartment on a trial run...my in-laws are actually out of town and my mother and sister are staying there.

Well, all the claims about babies loving these carriers (because they remember the rhythm of your walk from the womb) are true! E slept like a baby the whole way. In fact, maybe I should take him out for a walk in the carrier whenever he's fussing.

It sounds like a wonderful idea, glad that both you and E like it so much. Isn't it nice when a baby sleeps like a baby?

Liz - hehe. D has skype. Maybe we can do that before your bebe comes.

Judy - yes, but so rare!

That makes me wonder if it works as well when D uses it, since, you know, E wasn't in his womb. lol

In the 'burbs, you take the baby for a drive when he's fussy. I guess in the city (or before cars were invented) you take them for a walk. Genius! And way more economical and earth-friendly!

I think it's cute when I see people with those carriers. It's especially cute when the dads are carrying them.

Suzy - we'll see ;)

Kitkat - yup, i grew up in the burbs and mom has been telling me how it took me 6 months to sleep through the night and only a car ride would console me.

G - congrats on starting a blog! Yes, I love it already - I took him out in it again tonight. It seems to calm him down magically. Unfortunately, he is erupting now.
