Corporate-speak

D came back from a client meeting today, amused because one of the guys who works there has reached new highs (or lows, depending on your perspective) with respect to corporate jargon. Examples:

going into something in detail = "Let's do a deep dive on this."
going to the bathroom = "a bio break"
documents = "artifacts"

We tooooootally say bio break because upper management is uncomfortable with "I have to pee."

I'll have to tell Rich about "bio break" because he hates the word "pee."

"Artifacts" cracks me up.

This is untterly ridiclous. Pathetic in a way. Could these guys do a 'deep dive' and forget to come up for air?
