Potatoes in the Mist

I just finished Elin Hilderbrand's new book, The Perfect Couple. The title actually had nothing to do with the story, it was basically a murder mystery. There was an ongoing theme about things and people not being what they seemed. As usual, her characters had great names - Siobhan Crispin (a caterer), Merritt Monaco (an Instagram influencer), and Featherleigh Dale (British antique seller). The ending was a little sad. But overall I loved it. Fortunately she has another book coming out in October.

I just had a moment of nostalgia for the Awesome Blossom at Chili's. It probably had 2000 calories, but it was delicious. So was the dipping sauce.

Eric is going to be 10 tomorrow! He had a pool party today (the billiards kind).
